WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation (T.D.O.T.) wishes to execute
a Quitclaim Deed to a drainage easement that is shown on the plat attached hereto as
Exhibit "A"; and,
WHEREAS, T.D.O.T. has requested a resolution from the City indicating that the
property is no longer needed for use by citizens of the City of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY
THE CITY OF COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby certifies that it has no objection to a Quitclaim Deed
from the Texas Department of Transportation to the fee owners of the drainage easement
shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes because the
City of Beaumont has no need of the property for any municipal purpose.
