WHEREAS, on December 27, 19931 bids were received for the purchase of an
excavator for the Solid Waste Management Department, Landfill Division; and,
WHEREAS,Mustang Tractor&Equipment Company submitted a bid in the amount
of $196,349 with a guaranteed three (3) year repurchase price of $150,000 or $120,000 for
five (5) years; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor
& Equipment Company is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor & Equipment Company for the purchase of
an excavator for the Solid Waste Management Department, Landfill Division in the amount
of $196,349 with a guaranteed three (3) year repurchase price of $150,000 or $120,000 for
five (5) years be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1994.
