WHEREAS, on August 30, 1993,bids were received for an annual contract for Guard
Services and Event Staff for the Convention Facilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, Delta Security, Inc. submitted a bid in the estimated total amount of
$73,830.00 as follows:
Guard Service Supervisor $7.50/hr.
Ticket Taker Supervisor $7.15/hr.
Ticket Taker $6.75/hr.
Usher Supervisor $7.15/hr.
Usher $6.75/hr.
Door Guard $6.75/hr.
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Delta Security,
Inc. is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Delta Security, Inc. for an annual contract for Guard Services
and Event Staff for the Convention Facilities Department in the estimated amount of
$73,830.00, as shown above, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the-� day of
