WHEREAS, on November 22, 1993, bids were received for the purchase of
rectangular folding tables for the Convention Facilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, Mity-Lite Tables submitted a bid in the amount of$125 each for thirty-
six (36) 30" x 72" folding tables and $135 each for ninety-one (91) 30" x 96" folding tables,
totalling $16,785; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Mity-Lite Tables
is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mity-Lite Tables for the purchase of rectangular folding tables
for the Convention Facilities Department in the amount of $125 each for thirty-six (36) 30"
x 72" folding tables and $135 each for ninety-one (91) 30" x 96" folding tables, totalling
$16,785 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
