WHEREAS, on November 1, 1993, bids were received for an annual contract for
unleaded gasoline, both low and mid range octane, and diesel fuel; and,
WHEREAS, Sun Coast Resources, Inc. submitted a bid for transport deliveries of
unleaded gasoline at$-.0067 per gallon and diesel fuel at $-.0058 per gallon below the weekly
average price published for the area of O.P.I.S.; and for tankwagon delivers at $+.0503
above the O.P.I.S. for all types of fuel; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Sun Coast
Resources, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Sun Coast Resources, Inc. for an annual contract for unleaded
gasoline, both low and mid range octane, and diesel fuel at the above stated prices be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
