WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land for
improvements to the Liberty-Laurel Corridor from Eleventh Street to Phelan
Boulevard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following land for improvements to the Liberty-Laurel
Corridor from Eleventh Street to Phelan Boulevard be, and the same is hereby,
approved:
Parcel 105: 0.8225 acre tract of land out of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block 6, of
Laurel Heights Addition and a portion of the abandoned Liberty
Street right-of-way
Owner: John Frederic Simon, Helen Ruth Goldstein, Jennifer
L. Goldstein Flanagan, Amy R. Goldstein Stusek, Eric L.
Goldstein, Julie D. Simon, John F. Simon, Jr., Richard L. Simon
and John F. Simon as Trustee of the Betty Simon and Goldstein
Trust
Appraised Value: $243,637.00 (Whole Taking)
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
