WHEREAS, on Monday, June 7, 1993, sealed bids were received for the
purchase of folding chairs and chair racks for Convention Facilities, Civic Center Complex;
and,
WHEREAS,Virco Mfg.Corporation submitted a bid in the following guaranteed
prices:
DESCRIPTION UNIT PRICE TOTAL PRICE
CHAIRS (1,00)) $ 46.75 $ 46,750.00
CHAIR RACKS (10) $ 295.00 $ 2,950.00
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Virco Mfg.
Corporation is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Virco Mfg. Corporation for the purchase of folding chairs and
chair racks for Convention Facilities, Civic Center Complex in the above stated amounts be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day
