BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to amend the labor agreement for
the years October 1, 1991 through September 30, 1994 between the City of Beaumont and
the Beaumont Police Officers Association by executing Addendum C, Proficiency Pay Letter
of Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit "A".

of 1993.

ADDENDUM C
PROFICIENCY PAY
LETTER OF AGRFFMFNT
This addendum is incorporated in and made part of the Labor Agreement
between the City of Beaumont and the Beaumont Police Officers Association signed on the
19th day of November, 1991, and this addendum to said Labor Agreement provides that
effective October 1, 1993, in addition to the wage rate established by the current labor
agreement, the Employer shall pay proficiency pay at a rate of$200 per month to sergeants
during that period of time when they are assigned to supervise five (5) or more sworn
personnel.
This addendum is necessary and appropriate in order to fully implement the
Community Oriented Policing Program.
