RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on Monday, August 30, 1993, sealed bids were received for providing
an annual contract for grounds maintenance along the Martin Luther King Parkway right-of-
ways for the Clean Community Division; and,
WHEREAS, Alamo Lawn Service submitted a bid in the amount of $34,800.00 or
$3,500 per month during growing season (March - October) and $1,700 per month during
the off-season (November - February); and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Alamo Lawn
Service is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Alamo Lawn Service for an annual contract for grounds
maintenance along the Martin Luther King Parkway right-of-ways for the Clean Community
Division in the amount of $34,800.00 or $3,500 per month during growing season (March -
October) and $1,700 per month during the off-season (November - February) be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
