WHEREAS, on Monday, May 10, 1993 bids were received for replacement of
a passenger elevator hydraulic underground jack cylinder on the Julie Rogers Theater
passenger elevator located at 765 Pearl Street; and,
WHEREAS, Millar Elevator Service submitted a bid in the amount of
$10,970.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Millar
Elevator Service is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Millar Elevator Service to purchase a replacement for a
passenger elevator hydraulic underground jack cylinder on the Julie Rogers Theater
passenger elevator located at 765 Pearl Street in the amount of $10,970.00 be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
