WHEREAS, on Monday, August 30, 1993, sealed bids were received for providing
an annual contract for grounds maintenance at Tyrrell Park for the Parks Division; and,
WHEREAS, Henry Homberg Golf Course submitted a bid in the amount of
$116,000.00 or $12,500 per month during growing season (March - October) and $4,000 per
month during the off-season (November - February); and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Henry Homberg
Golf Course is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Henry Homberg Golf Course for an annual contract for grounds
maintenance at Tyrrell Park for the Parks Division in the amount of $116,000.00 or $12,500
per month during growing season (March - October) and $4,000 per month during the off-
season (November - February) be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
