HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 93-231 X13 - i RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on November 12, 1991, the Beaumont City Council authorized the execution of a contract with Naztec, Inc. for the purchase of a computerized signal system for downtown Beaumont at a cost of$ 418,850. The contract with Naztec provided that the City could purchase additional items as needed for a period of five (5) years to further expand the signal system. WHEREAS, the purchase of additional equipment to be installed at eight (8) intersections is needed for the following locations: ° Washington/Avenue C; One (1) Controller, One (1) Cabinet, One (1) Conflict Monitor ° Washington/Avenue A; One (1) Controller, One (1) Cabinet, One (1) Conflict Monitor Washington/Park; One (1) Controller, One (1) Cabinet, One (1) Conflict Monitor ° Washington/Sabine Pass; One (1) Controller, One (1) Cabinet, One (1) Conflict Monitor Washington/Irving; One (1) Controller, One (1) Cabinet, One (1) Conflict Monitor, One (1) Master Controller ° Washington/Martin Luther King; One (1) Controller, One (1) Cabinet, One (1) Conflict Monitor ° Irving/Madison; One (1) Controller, One (1) Cabinet, One (1) Conflict Monitor Fourth (4th)/Corley; One (1) Controller, One (1) Cabinet, One (1) Conflict Monitor; and WHEREAS, the total quantities and costs are as follows: Description Qty.
