RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Gregory Frank Stanley has submitted an application to the City of
Beaumont for a license to operate an auto wrecker service within the corporate limits of the
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard and considered whether the demands of
public convenience and necessity require such proposed or such additional auto wrecker
service within the city; the financial responsibility of the applicant; the number, kind and
type of equipment to be used; the increased traffic congestion on the streets of the city
which might result; whether the safe use of the streets by the public, both vehicular and
pedestrian, will be preserved by the granting of such additional permits; and,
WHEREAS,the City Council is of the opinion that the acceptance of said application
will serve the demand of public convenience and necessity and that same should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT public convenience and necessity require the acceptance of the aforesaid wrecker
permit application.
