WHEREAS,bids were received for the purchase of a one (1) ton truck equipped with
a telescopic aerial device for the Public Works Department's Transportation Division; and,
WHEREAS, Buddy Chevrolet, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of $38,461.00 for
one (1) 1994 Chevrolet one (1) ton cab and chassis with a Versalift and service body; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Buddy
Chevrolet, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Buddy Chevrolet, Inc. in the amount of $38,461.00 for one (1)
1994 Chevrolet one (1) ton cab and chassis equipped with a Versalift and service body be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 5,.day of
1993.
