WHEREAS, on August 16, 1993, bids were received for the purchase of one
(1) portable rotary trommel screening plant for the City's Landfill Composting Division; and,
WHEREAS, Conley Lott Nichols Machinery Company of Houston, Texas,
submitted a bid in the amount of$139,967 for a Fuel Harvester Earth Saver Model 622ABH
Trommel Screen; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Conley
Lott Nichols Machinery Company is the best bid meeting specifications and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Conley Lott Nichols Machinery Company in the amount of
$139,967 for a Fuel Harvester Earth Saver Model 622ABH Trommel Screen be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
