RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on July 26, 1993, bids were received for furnishing all equipment,
labor, materials and necessary supplies needed for the development of Lefler Park; and,
WHEREAS, Jleeco Builders of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a base bid of
$245,600 plus Alternate #1 for eighteen (18) exercise stations in the amount of $10,600 and
less Alternate #3 in the amount of$8,400 for the removal of approximately 2,400 lineal feet
of foot trails for an estimated contract amount of $247,800; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Jleeco
Builders is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Jleeco Builders in the amount of$245,600 plus Alternate #1 for
eighteen (18) exercise stations in the amount of$10,600 and less Alternate #3 in the amount
of $8,400 for the removal of approximately 2,400 lineal feet of foot trails for an estimated
contract amount of $247,800 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
