WHEREAS, on August 16, 1993, bids were received for the purchase of one (1)
four-wheel drive truck equipped with a contractor's dump body for use by the Parks
Maintenance Division; and,
WHEREAS, Knapp Chevrolet, Inc. of Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of $24,200 for a 1994 Chevrolet one-ton four-wheel drive truck equipped with a two
cubic yard dump body; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Knapp
Chevrolet, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Knapp Chevrolet, Inc. in the amount of $24,200 for a 1994
Chevrolet one-ton four-wheel drive truck equipped with a two cubic yard dump body be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this they` day
