RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received for the purchase of thirty (30) mobile
and twenty (20) portable radios for the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Neches Communications submitted a bid in the amount of
$837.15 each for thirty (30) mobile radios and $678.00 each for twenty (20) portable radios;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Neches
Communications is the lowest and best bids meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Neches Communications in the amount of $837.15 each for
thirty (30) mobile radios and $678.00 each for twenty (20) portable radios be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
