RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on Monday, July 26, 1993 bids were received for repairs to Unit 5068,
a Caterpillar D7H dozer at the City landfill; and,
WHEREAS,Mustang Tractor&Equipment Company submitted a bid in the amount
of$26,464.32 for the undercarriage overhaul and $16,555.60 for additional repairs if needed
for a total of $43,019.92; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor
& Equipment Company is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor & Equipment Company for repairs to Unit
5068, a Caterpillar D7H dozer at the City landfill in the amount of $26,464.32 for the
undercarriage overhaul and $16,555.60 for additional repairs if needed, for a total of
$43,019.92 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
