WHEREAS, on July 27, 1993, by City Council authorized the City Manager to enter
into a contract with Premium Construction Inc.for removal of fifty-three (53) asbestos pipes
at $340.00 each for a total contract price of $18,020.00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 has been created to increase the Contract amount
to $20,400.00. This change order is needed because seven (7) additional sites have been
located where asbestos bearing pipe has been utilized for driveway transition and need to
be removed:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1,
as stated above, with Premium Construction Inc..
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the lez4 day of
1993.
