RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Gulf States Utilities Company, has requested the City of Beaumont
grant a utility easement out of the A. Williams Survey, Abstract 385 on the Wuthering
Heights Park property 193.0 feet south of the northwest property line of the park property
and in an easterly direction for a distance of 232.0 feet and turns to the south for a distance
of 207.0 feet, for an underground electrical distribution line to provide flood lighting for
Wuthering Heights Park, as depicted on Exhibit "A" attached; and,
WHEREAS, it appears that it would be equitable to allow such an easement at this
time;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to grant a utility easement to Gulf States
Utilities Company for an underground electrical distribution line to provide flood lighting
for Wuthering Heights Park, out of the A. Williams Survey, Abstract 385 on the Wuthering
Heights Park property 193.0 feet south of the northwest property line of the park property
and in an easterly direction for a distance of 232.0 feet and turns to the south for a distance
of 207.0 feet, a plat of the property is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
