RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, one bid was received for the purchase of a 75 H.P. diesel driven tractor
slopemower for the Streets and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, Oil City Tractors of Beaumont submitted a bid in the amount of
$36,637.00 for a Ford Model 6640 tractor with an Alamo 20'4" extendible boom arm mower;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors
of Beaumont is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors of Beaumont for a Ford Model 6640 tractor
with an Alamo 20'4" extendible boom arm mower for the Streets and Drainage Division in
the amount of $36,637.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the t3 day of
1993.
