WHEREAS, on Monday, July 26, 1993 bids were received for the lease of one (1)
high speed copier to be used on the second floor in City Hall; and,
WHEREAS, Xerox Corporation submitted a sixty (60) month lease/purchase bid for
a Xerox 5100 copier with a funding out provision at a stated price of $1,530.10 per month
for equipment, $335.00 per month for maintenance and copy charges of $.0079 each, with
a total lease price of $91,806.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Xerox
Corporation is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Xerox Corporation for a sixty (60) month lease/purchase bid for
a Xerox 5100 copier with a funding out provision at a stated price of $1,530.10 per month
for equipment, $335.00 per month for maintenance and copy charges of $.0079 each, with
a total lease price of $91,806.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the& 'day of
