WHEREAS, two bids were received for a diesel tractor for the Parks Maintenance
Division; and,
WHEREAS, Eastex Farm & Home submitted a bid in the amount of$14,042.00 for
a diesel tractor; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Eastex Farm &
Home is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Eastex Farm & Home for the purchase of a diesel tractor for
the Parks Maintenance Division in the amount of $14,042.00 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day
