WHEREAS, two bids were received for the purchase of five (5) flail mowers for the
Parks Maintenance Division; and,
WHEREAS, Oil City Tractors, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of $14,435.00 for
five (5) Mott Model 74 flail mowers; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Oil City
Tractors, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors, Inc. for the purchase of five (5) Mott Model
74 flail mowers for the Parks Maintenance Division in the amount of$14,435.00 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 7 day
