RESOLUTION
WHEREAS,two bids were received on Monday, June 7, 1993 for the purchase
of a van to be used as a Mobile Command and Communications Center for the Police
Department's SWAT team; and,
WHEREAS, Buddy Chevrolet, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$32,739.00 for a 1994 Chevrolet truck with a Supreme Corporation custom body; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Buddy
Chevrolet, Inc. is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Buddy Chevrolet, Inc. for the purchase of a 1994 Chevrolet
truck with a Supreme Corporation custom body to be used as a Mobile Command and
Communications Center for the Police Department's SWAT team in the amount of
$32,739.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
