WHEREAS, on September 1, 1992, City Council awarded a contract to Bo-Mac
Contractors, Inc. for the 1992 Street Rehabilitation Program "Reconstruction and Overlay"
in the amount of $1,305,338.50; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 was issued June 1 to reconstruct Tyrrell Park Road
from Downs to Fannett Road in the additional amount of $204,222.00 increasing the
contract amount to $1,509,560.50; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is needed to allow Bo-Mac Contractor, Inc. to
reconstruct Downs Road, which has been utilized as a truck route and is now damaged due
to the heavy truck traffic, in the estimated amount of $81,834.00:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 2,
as stated above, with Bo-Mac Contractor, Inc.
