RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Gulf States Utilities Company, has requested the City of
Beaumont grant a 16 foot easement out of the James Rowe Survey 1,929.0 feet south
of the Lafin Road south right-of-way line 65.0 feet west of the centerline of the
drainage ditch to serve the Sanitary Sewage Treatment Plant on Lafin Road as
depicted on Exhibit "A"; and,
WHEREAS, it appears that it would be equitable to allow such an easement
at this time;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to grant a 16 foot easement to Gulf
States Utilities Company to serve the Sanitary Sewage Treatment Plant on Lafin
Road south right-of-way line 65.0 feet west of the centerline of the drainage ditch,
a plat of the property is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
