RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on February 2, 1993, the City Council passed a Resolution
awarding the contract for the construction of a roadway at the City of Beaumont's
Landfill to APAC-TEXAS, Inc. in the amount of $371,105.00; and,
WHEREAS, on March 2, 1993 Change Order No. 1 was executed in the
amount of ($44,263.00); on April 6, 1993 Change Order No. 2 was executed in the
amount of $30,000.00; on May 25, 1993 Change Order No. 3 was executed in the
amount of $21,000.00; total of these Change Orders has increased the Contract
amount to $377,842.00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 4 has been created to decrease the Contract
amount by ($6,815.02) for a total contract amount of $371,026.98;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order
No. 4 with APAC-TEXAS, Inc. for a contract price decrease in the amount of
($6,815.02) for full and final payment in the amount of $79,547.06.
