RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont wishes to apply for federal assistance from
the Bureau of Justice Assistance to commence a community-oriented policing
program; and,
WHEREAS, this program has been endorsed by the City Council of the City
of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT, the City Manager, Ray Riley, be and he is hereby authorized to execute all
documents necessary to apply for federal assistance to the Bureau of Justice
Assistance for a grant for a community-oriented policing program.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this
