RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the claim of L. E. Johnson, et al vs. City of Beaumont, et al has been
discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the claim of L E.
Johnson, et al vs. City of Beaumont, et al in the amount of Three Hundred and Seventy-five
Thousand and 00/100 ($375,000.00) Dollars.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the liet day
of , 1993.
