WHEREAS, on Monday, April 19, 1993, sealed bids were received for a contract to
furnish laboratory testing services for the Public Utilities/Water Reclamations's Wastewater
Industrial Pretreatment Program; and,
WHEREAS, Chemtex submitted a bid in the amount of $11,470.00 for wastewater
laboratory testing services; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Chemtex is the
lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Chemtex for wastewater laboratory testing services for the
Public Utilities/Water Reclamation's Wastewater Industrial Pretreatment Program in the
amount of $11,470.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
