RESOLUTION
WHEREAS,bids were received for the purchase of a self-propelled road sweeper for
the Solid Waste Management Department; and,
WHEREAS, Conley Lott Nichols Machinery Co., of Houston, Texas, submitted a bid
in the amount of $23,607.00 for a self-propelled road sweeper; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Conley Lott
Nichols Machinery Co., of Houston, Texas is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Conley Lott Nichols Machinery Co., of Houston, Texas for the
purchase of a self-propelled road sweeper for the Solid Waste Management Department in
the amount of $23,607.00, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
