RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of five (5) air conditioning units to
be installed by the Building Services Division at the Civic Center; and,
WHEREAS, Cobb Air Conditioning Co., Inc. of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid
for the purchase of three (3) 7-1/2 ton air conditioning units in the amount of$2,461.00 each
and two (2) 10 ton air conditioning units in the amount of $3,170.00 each for a total price
of $13,723.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Cobb Air
Conditioning Co., Inc., of Beaumont, Texas is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Cobb Air Conditioning Co., Inc., of Beaumont, Texas for the
purchase of five (5) air conditioning units for the Civic Center for a total amount of
$13,723.00, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
