WHEREAS, bids were received Monday, March 15, 1993, for an annual contract for
limestone F.O.B. jobsite and F.O.B. plantsite; and,
WHEREAS, Transit Mix Concrete and Materials Company of Beaumont submitted
0
a bid in the amount of $10:95 per ton for limestone F.O.B. plantsite; and,
WHEREAS,Davidson Construction,Inc., of Beaumont submitted a bid in the amount
of $12.10 per ton for limestone delivered to jobsites in all four (4) zoned areas of the City;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Transit Mix
Concrete and Materials Company and Davidson Construction, Inc. are the best bids meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Transit Mix Concrete and Materials Company and Davidson
Construction, Inc., for an annual contract for limestone F.O.B.jobsite and F.O.B. plantsite,
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the Z�9`day of
