RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received Monday, March 22, 1993, for the purchase of
a tractor with a fifteen foot (15') flex wing heavy duty rotary cutter for use at the City
landfill; and,
WHEREAS, Oil City Tractors, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$27,980.00 for the purchase of one Ford 6640 tractor and Bush Hog 2615 rotary
cutter; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Oil City
Tractors, Inc., is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, for the purchase of
one Ford 6640 tractor and Bush Hog 2615 rotary cutter in the amount of $27,980.00, be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
