WHEREAS, bids were received for Hepatitis B vaccine for the Health
Department to be given to the City's first responders (police officers, firefighters,
and EMS personnel); and,
WHEREAS, Bindley Western Drug Company submitted a bid of
$14,841.00 with the option to purchase additional doses at $29.10 per dose; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Bindley Western Drug Company is the best bid meeting specifications and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Bindley Western Drug Company in the amount of
$14,841.00 with the option to purchase additional doses at $29.10 per dose of the
Hepatitis B vaccine for the Health Department to be given to the City's first
responders (police officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel), be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
