RESOLUTION
WHEREAS,bids were received for an annual contract to purchase fluorescent
lamps and ballasts for City facilities; and,
WHEREAS, Consolidated Electrical Distributors submitted a bid in the
amount as follows:
F40 CW 48" fluorescent lamp - approximate $ 0.70
annual usage of 9,000 lamps
F96T12/CW 96" fluorescent lamp - $ 1.76
approximate annual usage of 1500 lamps

Ballast, R-2540-TP Mark 111 Advance 2- $ 9.31
140T12 120 volt
Ballast, V-2540-TP Mark III Advance 2- $ 9.73
140T12 277 volt
Ballast, SM-205-S-TP Advance 2-96" 120 $ 15.66

and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted above is the
best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted above for an annual contract to purchase fluorescent lamps
and ballasts for City facilities, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
