WHEREAS, bids were received for the reconditioning of two (2)
Caterpillar off-road dump trucks for the Solid Waste Landfill Division; and,
WHEREAS, Mustang Tractor & Equipment of Beaumont submitted a
bid in the amount of $149,722.56; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by
Mustang Tractor & Equipment is the best bid meeting specifications and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor & Equipment for the reconditioning
of two (2) Caterpillar off-road dump trucks for the Solid Waste Landfill Division in
the amount of $149,722.56 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
