RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of a new 6,250
square foot Health Services Building to be constructed on the grounds of the present
Health Department on Washington Boulevard; and,
WHEREAS, G & G Enterprises submitted a bid in the amount of
$537,800.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by
G & G Enterprises is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by G & G Enterprises for the construction of a new 6,250
square foot Health Services Building to be constructed on the grounds of the present
Health Department on Washington Boulevard in the amount of $537,800.00, be
accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a contract for such project with G & G Enterprises.
