WHEREAS, the City has contracted with First City Bank, Texas as a depository
for investment purposes; and,
WHEREAS, First City Bank, Texas wishes to release the following securities with
the Federal Reserve Bank - Dallas/Houston Branch, effective February 2, 1993;
RECEIPT NO. DESCRIPTION PAR VALUE
CUSIP No. 912794A61 U.S. Treasury Note,
Coupon 4.875, due
02/11/93 $170,000.00
and,
WHEREAS, First City Bank, Texas wishes to replace the above-described
securities being held at Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas/Houston Branch effective February 1,
1993:
CUSIP No. 912794B52 U.S. Treasury Note,
due 03/18/93 $170,000.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT First City Bank, Texas be permitted to release and pledge the above-described securities
and a certified copy of this resolution shall constitute the approval of such release and pledge as
evidence of the authority of said bank to make said release and pledge.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day
