RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on August 11, 1992, City Council awarded a contract to Excavators
and Constructors, Inc., in the amount of$1,115,073.20 for the construction of the High School
Ditch Drainage System - Phase I Project; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is being requested to add an additional 40 linear
feet of 10' x 8' concrete box culvert and required additional pay items in the amount of
$19,327.91; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 will result in an increase in the contract amount
to $1,134,401.11; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 in the
amount of $19,327.91 to the contract between the City of Beaumont and Excavators and
Constructors, Inc., for the construction of the High School Ditch Drainage System - Phase I
Project
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1993.
