WHEREAS, on April 7, 1992, City Council awarded a contract to Jleeco Builders
for the renovation of the KCS Depot in the amount of$101,009; and,
WHEREAS, Change Orders 1 and 2, totalling $2,357, have resulted in a total
construction contract of $103,366; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 is being requested to include Alternate No. 4
for the addition of a concrete border, compacted sub-base and free-layered brick pavers on the
north side of the building in the amount of $13,900; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 will result in an increase in the contract amount
to $117,266; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 3 in the
amount of $13,900 to the contract between the City of Beaumont and Jleeco Builders for the
renovation of the KCS Depot.
