RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, a bid was received for the purchase of one (1) motor grader for the
Solid Waste Department, Landfill Division; and,
WHEREAS, Stewart and Stevenson Services, Inc. of Nederland submitted a bid
in the amount of $82,785.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Stewart and
Stevenson Services, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Stewart and Stevenson Services, Inc. of Nederland for the purchase
of one (1) motor grader for the Solid Waste Department, Landfill Division in the amount of
$82,785.00, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this thew? Gday
of 1992.
