RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, construction of the water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street
improvements in Briar Creek III have been completed as follows:
Street and Storm Sewer Improvements:
• Briar Creek Drive from the existing pavement on Briar Creek Drive
approximately 538 feet south, turning west for a distance of approximately
340 feet and ending with a cul-de-sac.
• Briar Way Drive from Briar Creek Drive approximately 310 feet west, turning
north for a distance of approximately 315 feet ending with a cul-de-sac.
Water and Sanitary Sewer Improvements:
o Lots 1 through 33, Block 1
and,
WHEREAS, the developers of said addition desire to have these improvements
accepted and maintained by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the director of the Public Works and Engineering Department
recommends that said improvements meet city standards and qualify for acceptance for
permanent maintenance, and the City Council is of the opinion that said improvements should
be accepted and maintained by the City of Beaumont;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street improvements of Briar Creek III, as
described above, are hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and shall be continuously
maintained by the City contingent upon filing of the final plat, complete with filings of
dedication of all rights-of-way and easements required on the preliminary and final plats and
installation of streetlights.
