WHEREAS, the City Council has discussed the facts of the lawsuit styled Brenda Galles
vs. The City of Beaumont in an Executive Session properly called and held; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize settlement of the lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit styled Brenda
Galles vs. The City of Beaumont in the amount of Nine Thousand Six Hundred and no/100
dollars ($9,600.00).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the
day of 1992.
