WHEREAS, bids were received for City services statement and customer return
envelopes for the Water Utilities Department/Customer Service Division for the return of
monthly payments for City services; and,
WHEREAS, Westvaco of Houston, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of
$11,686.40 for furnishing and delivering 1,170,000 printed envelopes; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Westvaco
of Houston is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Westvaco of Houston, Texas in the amount of $11,686.40 for
furnishing and delivering 1,170,000 printed envelopes for the Water Utilities
Department/Customer Service Division, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
