WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for unleaded gasoline,
both low and mid range octane, and diesel fuel; and,
WHEREAS, Major Brand Oil (MBO) Inc., of Houston, a supplier of Conoco and
Diamond Shamrock products, submitted a bid in the amounts as follows:

WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted above are
the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid submitted above for an annual contract for unleaded gasoline, both low and mid
range octane, and diesel fuel, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
