WHEREAS, bids were received for leasing a satellite office in the North
Beaumont area for the Health Department's Women, Infants and Children (W.LC.) Division's
nutritional program; and,
WHEREAS, Agape Worship Crt. submitted a bid in the amount of $0.32 per
square foot for 3,164 square feet of office space; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Agape
Worship Ctr. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute a lease agreement between
the City of Beaumont and Agape Worship Center for 3,164 square feet of office space in the
amount of$0.32 per square foot. The total lease price per month of$1,412.48 which includes
utility costs in the amount of $400.00.
