WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract to furnish liquid polymer
to be used by the Water Production Division in the treatment of municipal drinking water; and,
WHEREAS, Callaway Chemical Company of Columbus, Georgia submitted a bid
in the amount of $.82 per pound for a period of one (1) year; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by
Callaway Chemical Company is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Callaway Chemical Company of Columbus, Georgia for an annual
contract to furnish liquid polymer to be used by the Water Production Division in the treatment
of municipal drinking water in the amount of $.82 per pound for one (1) year, be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the
day of 1992.
